I have a Masters Degree in Psychology and love to research topics related to emotions and behavior. I live in the beautiful, peaceful foothills of Colorado. I love photography and finding ways to enjoy life. I love getting ideas from others with regard to how they have increased happiness in their lives and in others around them.
How do you find happiness and peacefulness in life even when it feels like everything is against you?
I try not to let the world run me over, and if it does I’ve found many ways to pick myself back up. I’ll admit it takes a little push from others at times, but it’s possible. Some days are a lot worse than others.
Over the years, wasting a lot of time being depressed and unhealthy, I finally got sick of feeling so horrible. I found out it was really a waste of time! Through hours of reading, listening, and through trial and error I have found many ways to increase my ability to snap myself into a better, more healthy mood. It’s definitely not always easy, but after a lot of practice I can usually do it even on the worst of days.
Everyone is different. What works for one person may not work for another. But there is always some way out there that will work for everyone.
